So once in awhile, when I can think of something useful or something that might be helpful..
Photip#1 : Poor Man's Pelican
I got this idea from my friend Ramon when i saw he kept his little Powershot in a Lock&Lock plastic case. He was going up a moutain and wanted to keep his digicam safe and dry. These plastic cases are inexpensive, pretty sturdy and best of all.. waterproof.
They come in different sizes so you can keep just about anything in there safely. I keep my archive DVDs airtight and safe from damage in one of those cases (4 cases na to be exact), my Selphy in the larger one with the handle and my pocket wizards in the smaller one. I use that rubber grippy lining to pad the insides if needed.
It's nowhere near as safe or as indestructible as Pelicans but it will keep you from crushing delicate, expensive gear and have them stay dry in case the boat you are on sinks. (wag naman sana)
